Irene Hong

Irene Hong graduated from Institute of Education, Singapore and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She holds executive committee posts in varying capacities in various art societies, art academies and art institutes in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand and USA.

She holds regular solo art shows and is the first to paint a series of Dun Huang art in oil - the 'Dun Huang Legacy' series. She also participates regularly in numerous group exhibitions both in Singapore and overseas with some award winning entries. She has also represented Singapore in various art exchange programmes with art works in oil, Chinese ink, watercolours and mixed media. Listed in international biographical publications, her works are in art museums and private as well as corporate collections in Singapore and overseas.
She is a Visiting Lecturer at NAFA and a workshop trainer specialising in Art Enrichment Programmes.
